Explain that sport stacking is a sport and the focus of the club is to improve sport stacking skills and prepare to be successful in all sport stacking competition formats.
Explain sanctioned competition formats and Stacking League Dual Meet formats.
Small Group Training:
Play Get the Point! (20 minutes)
Divide players into groups of 4 and have them set up at the same table.
One of the players says “Ready, Set, Go” everyone stacks a 3-3-3.
The fastest time gets a point.
Continue play for 5 minutes using only the 3-3-3 stack keeping track of their points.
Reorganize the players so that the players with the most points are at the same table, 2nd most points are at the same table and so on.
Now they play again using the 3-6-3. Play for 5 minutes.
Reorganize into different groups again based on the number of points earned in the 3-6-3 round.
Have the new groups play one more time using the Cycle as their stack.
