The USA Sport Stacking Sport Education Unit is a month-long, 10 lesson unit for students to participate in a Stacking League. Stacking League is a team-based competition format for sport stacking consisting of dual meets. Teams compete against other teams in 5 events earning points if they win an event. The team with the greatest number of points at the end of the 5 events wins the meet.
The USA Sport Stacking Sport Education Unit provides opportunities for students to:
- Participate in a sport season in a physical education setting.
- Develop coordination, focus and perseverance through sport stacking.
- Experience a sport as an athlete while learning about additional roles in athletics.
- Improve social emotional competencies through project-based learning.
