Rank members of the team for Stacking League Matches
Lesson Outline
Equipment managers set up tables and StackMats.
Team members warm up.
Team members will race each other in Individual Head to Head 3-6-3 in a round robin format. Each match will be the best 2 out of 3 races.
These matches give team members practice in this event and also will determine the ranking of each team member on the team. This is important for Stacking League matches.
The Data Manager uses the Head to Head Round Robin sheet to record matches and results. The team member with the most match wins is seeded first. The team member with the second most match wins is seeded second and so on. Tie breaker matches can be used to determine ranking as needed.
While waiting for matches to begin, other team members will complete tasks for their roles such as starting to plan the awards ceremony for the last day of the unit or updating the Wall of Fame and discussing the Positive Pyramid Topic of the Day: In sport stacking, we promote humble winners and gracious losers. What does this mean to you? How can you be a humble winner and/or a gracious loser?
