Stacking League is a team-based competition season where schools or community clubs have teams that compete against each other. You can learn more at https://usasportstacking.com/leagues/match-play/
The suggested culminating event for your last club meeting is a Stacking League Meet. Stackers will be placed on teams of 4-6 and compete against one other team in all 5 events. - Before club meeting: Coach should divide kids into teams and assign doubles partners and the order for each relay team and what players will sub in and out for relays.
Warm up (10 minutes)
Divide kids into teams.
Have them practice doubles for 5 minutes and relays for 5 minutes.
Dual Meet (35 minutes)
Each table needs a mat and timer and a judge for each team. You can use students to be judges or have parents come volunteer as judges. Judges’ training videos are available at thewssa.com. Please contact lberman@thewssa.com for the password.
You may want to set up multiple tables based on the size of your club and the number of teams that will compete.
Bring teams to the competition table and have them complete an entire match.
Pause events along the way to help improve performance and understanding.
Bring the second set of teams to the table and repeat.
